Job Description:

Data Operations Management: Take ownership of all data operations within the wealth management department, with a primary focus on overnight custodian data batch loads. Ensure that data is processed accurately, efficiently, and within specified SLAs.

1. 1. SLA Adherence: Monitor and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure that overnight custodian data batch loads are completed on time (by 6am EST daily), without errors, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
   2. Python and SQL Expertise: Utilize Python and SQL to develop, maintain, and optimize data processing scripts and procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data operations in MySQL + AWS environment.
   3. Capital Markets Knowledge: Apply a comprehensive understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, and post-trade operations to ensure the accurate processing of data related to investment assets, portfolios, and financial transactions.
   4. Wealth Management Data Operations: Manage the end-to-end data operations workflow for wealth management, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Implement data quality controls and validation checks.
   5. Data Integrity and Security: Ensure the integrity and security of sensitive financial data. Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to protect client information.
   6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and portfolio management, to enhance data operations, resolve issues, and implement improvements.
   7. Reporting and Documentation: Generate regular reports and documentation related to data operations performance, SLA adherence, and error resolution. Maintain comprehensive records of data processing activities.
