Job Description

The primary role is to support the accounting, tax, finance and human resources functions and perform day-to-day tasks related to these functions collaborating closely with the existing accountant. The position will report to the Finance Lead and be based in Bengaluru, India.

  • The ideal candidate will be able to accurately perform the following:

    • Enter journal entries into general ledger, review and maintain general ledger and generate related reports using the Intacct general ledger system.
    • Enter bills into BILL payables system.
    • Prepare and review payrolls using TriNet.
    • Prepare monthly & quarterly Financials as per reporting timelines
    • Prepare and maintain lease Schedule as per ASC 842
    • Review and prepare Excel files analyzing general ledger data, payroll, revenue and other data.
    • Respond to questions and provide support for taxation and audit processes.
    • Assist with reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

  • Ability to periodically work in USA west coast hours

  • Intacct and Excel expertise required.
  • BILL, Expensify and TriNet experience or similar systems experience required.
  • Proficient in other Microsoft office applications.
  • Ability to learn other Internet based systems such as Addepar and Custodial platforms.
  • Wealth Management / Registered Investment Advisor experience, CA/CPA/ MBA from creditable schools with 1 to 3 years’ experience or B.Com with 5-6 years will be preferred. USA tax knowledge a plus.
